Day of Caring: Hope Delivered

This year's Day of Caring will focus on delivering hope to needy veterans in our area. We will be collecting essential household items to then be assembled into laundry baskets. These baskets will be delivered to veterans transitioning from homelessness.

We are partnering with local businesses to help coordinate drives within their workplaces. A list of businesses/organizations hosting drives can be accessed by clicking here. The items raised will be taken to our United Way office (955 Turner Street) on Friday, May 10th at 2pm.

A week later, on May 17th, we will join together with community volunteers to assemble and deliver the baskets.

If you would like to donate items or volunteer to assemble baskets, please contact our office at 325-949-3716.

We would like to thank H-E-B for generously sponsoring this event
